Christian Health Care Sharing – Assurance, not Insurance

ACA Open Enrollment ends early this year! Nov 1-Dec 15, 2017

  • ACA-Obamacare

HEADS-UP, ACA OPEN ENROLLMENT IS MUCH SHORTER THIS YEAR!

Previously the open enrollment period for changing or choosing insurance plans was about 3 months long. This upcoming season however is only 6 weeks. From Nov 1, 2017 to Dec 15, 2017. That is a very short timeline for making a decision about whether you’re keeping your insurance plan or changing to a new one.

THERE IS GOOD NEWS!

Samaritan Ministries lets you sign up ANY TIME. So while your window for getting out of some insurance plans (certain group policies and ACA plans) is only during those 6 weeks, you can choose to join a health care sharing ministry any time you want. I would recommend matching up your signup to your end date on your other policy so that you aren’t going without some kind of protection.

MORE GOOD NEWS!

Samaritan Ministries is probably much much cheaper than the insurance premium you’re facing and you’ll find that it’s way more supportive of your family medical care as well. The freedoms are enormous. Do some research, this site is a great resource for that, and step out in faith. Your wallet and your family’s health will thank you.

Thanks for the info. I put your address down every time I see someone complain about Obamacare. I hope you have increased in your members. I am going to join in Dec.2017 as my husband is 65 and I am no longer on his policy. Kind of scarey trying something different. Thanks.

Hi Donna, yes Samaritan membership is continuing to grow! I understand the hesitation about changing to something new, it does require us to step out in faith. However, I can speak from personal experience about how wonderful it is to be part of the Samaritan family and how great it is to do healthcare this way. Different and BETTER! 🙂 Our surgery need was shared so quickly and with such peace and simplicity. God bless, and keep spreading the word about Samaritan and health care sharing, so many people can benefit!

About This Site

This website is a member review of Samaritan Ministries, a Christian Healthcare Sharing organization. I do not work for Samaritan, nor do I speak for them, I am just a very satisfied member. If you find this website helpful and decide to join I would appreciate if you would mention my name, Heather Peters (in Nebraska) or mention the website samaritan ministries review, as your referral. When that happens we then donate every month to special prayer needs and hope that you will consider donating something, too. Thank you for taking the time to read this site, it is a labor of love! :)

Exempt from the ACA

Members of recognized health care sharing ministries in existence since Dec 31, 1999 (this is) are exempt from the individual mandate of the Affordable Care Act, so there is no fine or penalty if you are a member of Samaritan Ministries.
