Do you feel a calling to be part of health care sharing beyond just membership? Consider working for Samaritan Ministries, either in their Peoria, IL headquarters or from home. Samaritan now offers work from home opportunities for those who aren’t able to move but still want to be part of the ministry staff. They also have several openings on their careers page that you should investigate if you are in the Peoria neighborhood (or plan to move there) and a couple for remote work.

I’ve seen Samaritan rated as one of the best Christian companies to work for and it doesn’t surprise me in the least. Every interaction I’ve had with their staff has been thoughtful and kind. If you are a good fit for Samaritan I sincerely hope you will reach out and investigate these new opportunities.
I am seeking a ministry-related remote position. I have been a Youth Pastor’s wife for 2 years, then my husband became a Pastor for 35 years. He suffered a heart attack in 2006 and stepped down from pastoring in 2011 due to a hit to the cerebellum. As a result, he struggles with bad balance, tremors of the diaphragm, and speech issues that doctors have diagnosed as palatal myoclonus. He knew all of this would affect the Church. It was a very hard decision but he wanted to honor Matthew 6:33, so he stepped down from pastoring. I have 17 years of experience as a Guest Relations Associate, working in Customer Service/Guest Relations and as a Patient-Visitor Representative. Other experience includes teaching in Christian Schools and serving in secular secretarial positions.
Please let me know if you have anything available for me at this time.
Hi Patricia. I’m guessing that Samaritan would be very interested to speak with you. Their careers page with available openings can be found here: https://samaritanministries.org/about/careers and it includes their remote positions. Good luck and best wishes as you look to serve the ministry. 🙂
