Christian Health Care Sharing – Assurance, not Insurance

Open Enrollment Nov 1 – Dec 15, 2019

  • ACA-Obamacare

Open Enrollment is going on now, with the period running from November 1 to Dec 15, 2019. While this is the only time to join or make changes to your ACA insurance plans, the good news is you’re never locked into those dates for joining Samaritan Ministries. You can join Samaritan all year long.

I’ve done our annual review of insurance options vs our Samaritan membership and I’ll be updating that information on this site soon. It was interesting to see how things had changed since last year. Some pricing increased, others decreased. More short term insurance options became available (spoiler alert, the price is low but the hazards and pain-in-the-neck factors are high with those).

If you’re on the hunt for affordable health care options you can trust, please review this site for all my information on Samaritan. I think you’ll find it’s the amazing option you’ve been waiting for!

About This Site

This website is a member review of Samaritan Ministries, a Christian Healthcare Sharing organization. I do not work for Samaritan, nor do I speak for them, I am just a very satisfied member. If you find this website helpful and decide to join I would appreciate if you would mention my name, Heather Peters (in Nebraska) or mention the website samaritan ministries review, as your referral. When that happens we then donate every month to special prayer needs and hope that you will consider donating something, too. Thank you for taking the time to read this site, it is a labor of love! :)

Exempt from the ACA

Members of recognized health care sharing ministries in existence since Dec 31, 1999 (this is) are exempt from the individual mandate of the Affordable Care Act, so there is no fine or penalty if you are a member of Samaritan Ministries.
